Martin Kupp will share how he met his co-founder Francesco Volpe in his course on entrepreneurship at ESCP and how they decided to launch Renaissance Fusion. He will share his views on deep tech entrepreneurship and how he has developed a series of electives on this topic at ESCP BS. Currently Martin is also working on several research projects in the deep tech entrepreneurship field, specifically on the role of deep tech venture founders' human capital diversity on venture performance, growth pathways of deep tech ventures and the role of the lean startup methodoly for deep tech venture. 

*Martin Kupp is Professor of Entrepreneurship and Strategy at ESCP Business School in Paris and a Visiting Professor at the European School of Management and Technology (ESMT) in Berlin. He received his doctoral degree from the University of Cologne. His areas of expertise include entrepreneurship, strategic innovation, competitive strategy, and organizational creativity. He has worked with clients such as Adeo, Bosch, Bertelsmann, Elior, Canal+, Axel Springer, ThyssenKrupp, Siemens, MAN, Coca-Cola, Deutsche Bank, and Deutsche Telekom. Martin lives with his family in the Médoc region of southwestern France, an area famous for its wine and waves.
