Pedro will present a new data-driven approach to mapping and strengthening industrial resilience in defense and dual-use procurement. He will introduce the work of Nordic Procurement Labs, an initiative that leverages AI and graph data science to analyze open procurement data, moving beyond high-level budget analysis to build an evidence-based map of verified industrial capabilities. Drawing on findings from the Nordic Defence Capability Report, Pedro will spotlight the “long tail” of critical suppliers operating beyond traditional weapon systems. Finally, he will demonstrate how this approach is being translated into a shared digital infrastructure designed to make strategic sourcing more transparent, auditable, and accessible, particularly for innovative SMEs.
